Sea Front Stays is a trading name of Strenson West Sussex Ltd (company number 11522409), with its registered office at 8 Ann Street, Worthing, England, BN11 1NX. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this Privacy Policy.

2. What we collect

When you make a booking or contact us we may collect:

  • Your name, email address, telephone number and postal address.
  • Booking details — property, dates, number of guests.
  • Payment information — handled by our payment processor; we do not see or store full card details.
  • Communication between you and us.
  • Basic technical data when you visit the Website (IP address, browser, pages viewed).

3. How we use it

  • To process and manage your booking (legal basis: performance of a contract).
  • To communicate with you about your stay (performance of a contract).
  • To meet our legal obligations, including tax and accounting (legal obligation).
  • To improve and secure the Website (legitimate interests).
  • With your consent, to send occasional updates about Sea Front Stays — you can unsubscribe at any time (consent).

4. Who we share it with

We share the minimum personal data needed with the following third-party processors:

  • Guesty — property management platform that powers our bookings.
  • GuestyPay — our payment processor.
  • Our hosting provider, email provider and analytics provider.
  • HMRC and other government bodies where required by law.

We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

5. International transfers

Some of our processors operate outside the UK. Where personal data is transferred internationally we use safeguards (such as UK or EU adequacy decisions, or Standard Contractual Clauses) to make sure it remains protected.

6. How long we keep it

We keep booking records for a minimum of six years from the end of the relevant tax year, in line with UK tax law. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Have inaccurate data corrected.
  • Have your data erased in certain circumstances.
  • Restrict or object to certain uses of your data.
