Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all bookings made through seafrontstays.com (the “Website”). The Website and the properties listed on it are operated by Strenson West Sussex Ltd (company number 11522409), trading as Sea Front Stays, with its registered office at 8 Ann Street, Worthing, England, BN11 1NX (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By making a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Definitions

Booking — a confirmed reservation for a Property for a defined Stay period.
Guest — the individual making the Booking, who must be at least 18 years old, and any other people staying at the Property during the Stay.
Property — any of the holiday rental homes listed on the Website.
Stay — the dates of the Booking from check-in to check-out.

2. Booking and payment

Bookings are processed through GuestyPay, our payment processor.
A Booking is only confirmed once payment has been received and we have issued a written confirmation by email.
All prices are quoted in pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
The Guest is responsible for ensuring the card or payment method used belongs to them and that they are authorised to use it.

3. Check-in and check-out

Check-in is from 4:00pm on the day of arrival.
Check-out is by 11:00am on the day of departure.
Late check-outs may be available on request and at our discretion, sometimes for a small charge.
Access to the Property is via a unique pin code sent by email before arrival. The Guest is responsible for keeping the pin code confidential.

4. House rules

The following rules apply to all stays. Breach of these rules may result in the Booking being terminated without refund.

No smoking inside the Property or on the balcony.
No pets.
No parties, events, or large gatherings.
Quiet between 11:00pm and 7:00am, in consideration of neighbouring residents.
The number of Guests must not exceed the maximum stated for the Property.
Guests are responsible for the Property and its contents during the Stay.

5. Damages and breakages

Guests are expected to leave the Property in the condition they found it. Accidental breakages should be reported promptly. We reserve the right to charge the Guest’s payment method for the reasonable cost of repair or replacement of any damage caused beyond fair wear and tear, including additional cleaning where the Property has been left in an unreasonable state.

6. Cancellation

Our cancellation policy is set out in full on our Cancellation Policy page and forms part of these Terms.

7. Our liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability which cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

Subject to that, our total liability arising out of or in connection with a Booking is limited to the total amount paid by the Guest for that Booking.

8. Force majeure

Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performing their obligations under these Terms which is due to events outside their reasonable control, including (without limitation) acts of God, severe weather, fire, flood, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government action, pandemic or epidemic.

9. Privacy

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter (including non-contractual disputes or claims), are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

The Guest and Strenson West Sussex Ltd irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version that applies to your Booking is the one in force on the date the Booking was confirmed.
